Our Heritage

A Legacy,Thread by Thread.

Every garment we build today carries the hand of every tailor who came before us. This is that story, told in reverse — starting with today, back to where it began.

Mo — Founder of Suit & Thread

Mo — the fourth generation, carrying the legacy forward.

Crafting Excellence
with Mo

I've been in the tailoring business since I was a child. I first started working in my father's tailor shop, Joe's Tailoring & Menswear, which we still own and operate today.

I began working in the shop at just twelve years old — sweeping, opening seams, prepping garments, writing tickets, and measuring people for bespoke suits five times my age.

Growing up in the shop taught me the craft from the ground up and instilled a deep respect for quality, fit, and menswear that I carry into everything I do today.

"Every suit tells a story. Let me help you tell yours."

The Man Who
Taught Me

Everything I know about tailoring, I learned from my father. He's the one who put a needle in my hand at twelve years old and never let me cut a corner since.

He still runs Joe's Tailoring & Menswear today, the same shop I grew up sweeping the floors of — the shop this whole legacy is still built on.

The Second Generation

Who
We Are

Four generations of artistry, each stitch carrying the wisdom and traditions of those who came before. This legacy has been shaped by passion, precision, and an unwavering devotion to the craft.

What was inherited was more than a skill — it was a story. A proud lineage of tailoring refined over decades, blending timeless style with a personal touch.

"When you wear our suits, you're wearing four generations of craftsmanship."

The First Generation

Preserving
the Craft

In a world of mass production, we pause to look back. This photograph captures the first generation at work. On the left is my great-great-grandfather — the man who started it all, and the foundation upon which everything we do today is built.

This image is more than a memory — it is our blueprint. We honor the tools, the techniques, and the patience of the masters who paved the way. Every suit we craft today is a tribute to their legacy, restoring the dignity of the tailor's art, one garment at a time.
